Absolutely in love with this clever design by Haniela, I actually made two sets this month, and wish I had a chance to make more… Such a nice decorating project, and apart from piping some real fine lines for the hands of the clock, it is not very complicated.

You can read all the details about Haniela’s project visiting her site (click here). You can start from a large round of cookie dough and cut it in 8 pieces, or bake several triangle shaped individual cookies and place them together (in this case I used 10 triangles). For my first clock project I used Red Velvet Cutout Cookies.

I ended up changing the center cookie to incorporate a snowflake instead of a circle.

For my second time around, I went with Gingerbread cookies (recipe recently published in my food blog, click here). This set ended up smaller, I used 8 pieces instead of 10.

It is hard to find a more appropriate set of cookies to embellish a New Year’s Eve dessert table… Huge thank you once again to Haniela for coming up with this idea…
I take the opportunity to wish everyone a wonderful 2025!

ONE YEAR AGO: Happy New Year!
TWO YEARS AGO: Christmas Ornaments
THREE YEARS AGO: Is it a cupcake? Is it a fern?
