Dusty Rose and Teal get together to bring a touch of elegance
and love to this special day…

.

The plaque design was adapted from a version from Haniela (youtube tutorial here) which I already made in the past (check it out here).

It is all wet-on-wet with the additional drawing of the outline with a food pen, as shown in this composite picture from my previous post.

I used the same teal color to flood cookies and add details with white icing, a design from Amber which I also did in the past in different color combinations (check them out here).

.

Teal is another beautiful shade, right off the bottle, and I believe it goes well for this type of whimsical design.

The center rose is made with fondant and a silicone mold. I also used it to decorate a plaque cookie, super simple, using Dusty Rose color.

.

I used super light Dusty Rose to flood little butterflies, also quite simple to decorate, relying on fondant decorations to finish.

Together, they form a cute simple set that I am sure would make a Mom smile…

.

I wish you a wonderful Mother’s Day, kiss and hug your Mom if she is still around you!

Sadly, my Mother has not been around for some three decades but she, like I, would have loved the pink butterflies – may I have one please . . . :)!
