It’s been a while since I shared cookie flip ideas, but here I am to show you four flips perfect for this scary season. Two involve one of my favorite shapes, the candy corn. And two are departures from a 5-pointed star. Ready for some fun? Here they are….
CANDY CORN FLIP #1

Flood the green area first, immediately add black beads for the eyes. Wait 15 minutes, flood the black. Make sure to invert black and green depending on which gender little creature you will be designing. Add details with piping consistency black and white Royal icing. Next day, add details with food safe pen. You are done!
CANDY CORN FLIP #2

Little bags to carry candy… Another super simple design. Just flood with orange and let it fully set, at least one hour.

Add white icing where you want the candy to go, immediately add the sprinkles. Pipe a fine line with black for the handle. You are done!
STAR FLIP #1

Aren’t those little bats the most adorable beings? I followed the instructions of this blog post by Bearfoot Baker, she is awesome! It starts with piping the outline then flooding and air-brushing the purple region. The rest is quite straightforward, as she explains in the blog post. A fun cookie flip indeed…

STAR FLIP #2

Another adorable design, don’t you think? I found a reel on Instagram and followed the steps. You can see it here, Maddie is a great decorator, consider following her account for inspiration.
I love a nice cookie cutter flip, I hope you do too!
