This post is dedicated to Aritri…

I wanted to make a full set of cookies with the blue color in mind. This particular tone was the result of mixing Wedgewood Blue with a touch of Navy, both from Americolor. Cookies were flooded, allowed to set, and the line work used white icing with a minuscule touch of Wedgewood.

Once the cookies were fully set, I sprayed them with PME Pearl Luster.

I also included in this set a small number of teardrop shapes with additional color.

I think they go together nicely, but of course, to simplify things they can all be monochromatic with the very light blue line work.

I would not classify these cookies as beginner level because of the amount of fine line piping, but once you get the consistency and the size of the hole in you piping bag just right, line work can be quite a peaceful activity… Bring your Zen on!
