A few ideas for this special day, starting with a cookie composition I am quite fond of…

It all starts by baking single cookies that will go together well in a composition…

I debated between a butterfly and a little bird, and for this one the bird won. Maybe next time I should make both… Then, it was a matter of piping fine lines for the flowers and fill the sections. Pastel colors for the most part…

Once all the pieces are flooded, you can let them set for a couple of hours or more, then add the details with piping consistency white, yellow, green and baby blue…

And here they are, ready for assembly..

Moving on, a simpler design using square cookies, wet-on-wet and fondant decoration painted with gold luster powder + vodka.

Start piping little lines and pull them with a needle… then wait for all to set, and add the details.

The fondant decoration can be omitted, and you can pipe instead a little wet-on-wet flower. Or just skip it altogether and just go with the written message in the center.

Following with the green tone and romantic vibe, a little brush embroidery, inspired by a blog post from 2015 (!!!!), published by Amber (click here to read her article).

I had two little square cookies iced with turquoise and decided to finish them with some brush embroidery, even if the colors at first did not seem like a good match…

I hope you enjoyed this little series, and I wish you a wonderful celebration on Sunday!
