To welcome 2024, a beautiful set of cookies with the elegance and flair that Tunde Dugantsi never fails to deliver… I loved this online tutorial so much! You can join her club and learn from countless lessons she has posted over the years by clicking here.

The full set requires you to cut the clock by hand (she provides the template), and the other cookies you can easily improvise from cutters you own. I had to cut the champagne glass by hand, and all others were the same shape, a rectangle with rounded edges.

What I love the most is the same color scheme in all cookies, but some are marbled to make them slightly different. The steps to make some of them are shown below.

The most involved is obviously the clock, but as usual Tunde’s explanations are very clear and detailed. For the whole set there is a need to pipe fine lines, that’s why I would consider it a more advanced project, not quite appropriate for beginners. But all things considered, it is quite doable.

A little air-brushing with gold and copper helps give the cookies that elegant, festive look. It’s all in the details, right?

So, let the countdown to another year begin!
