That gnome is Mr. Cool all the way… Look at those sunglasses, the shoes and the trendy pants! So many little details, we worked hard on fondant pieces and painting them. Super fun online tutorial.
The gnome cookie relies heavily on details made in fondant, using this mold. It has several different pieces that will come in handy for cookie and cupcake projects, and it is quite affordable. Both the gnome and the floral use several different techniques to handle Royal Icing. I love Amy’s method to make folds on the fabric of the hat, to pipe the beard, and of course the piping of petals and leaves on the floral cookie. For the most part those are made with tipless bags, and her videos demonstrate it all clearly.
