This post is dedicated to Eha, a lover of all things butterflies and a most cherished supporter of my blogging life!
Yet another decorating adventure provided by Tunde Dugantsi (visit and join her club clicking here). She came up with the idea of using just two colors to decorate butterfly-shaped cookies, and guess what? Soon she will share another tutorial using a single color! I am already excited about it, but for the time being, let me show you the cookies I made and a few flowers to complete the set.

I used Ivory and Dusty Rose (remember I am a Dusty Rose Cheerleader), and followed her tutorial that relied on several techniques, from wet-on-wet to fine line piping. I would say this project is intermediate, definitely not beginner level, but not advanced. Pretty straightforward and trouble-free. I used similar colors to make a floral cookie to join with the butterflies.

Below, some of the steps of this decorating party…

My favorites are the ones below, so happy with them!

And the six plaque flowers to go with them for another Spring celebration. If you’ve been around my blog, you might recognize this flower from another recent tutorial by Tunde (check it out here).
