Spring is for working in your garden, for flowers and for the love of all things colorful and bright… Today I share a small collection of cookies that focus on this beautiful season.
LOVE GARDENING? THESE ARE FOR YOU!

These cookies have Haniela written all over them… You can watch her tutorial (for free!) to make this super cute set of cookies. Just visit her youtube channel (click here). I love the watering can so much, all the details make it adorably perfect.

But the little shovel with all the dirt glued to it stole my heart also…

And with Spring, we have flowers!
.
Simply flooded with fine line details, and a spray of PME luster pearl….

.
Drop flowers made with a close star tip, and a little fine line piping…

Flowers on Plaques

I love this type of design. First I piped the border and painted it gold. That is a little neater than trying to paint them after it is all flooded. Just make sure you use a tip #3 to pipe the border so it is thick enough to show after you flood the cookie. Steps are shown below.

For the colorful bouquet, I used piping consistency and Royal icing transfers I had leftover from past projects.

.
Finally, a real celebration of Spring as a cookie composition, that is pretty straightforward to decorate using just flooding, a stencil, and a little writing.

This cookie set (overlapping hearts) is available here. Flood the parts in two (or three) different shades of pink, allow that to set for 24 hours and add the stencil and piping details.

I loved this so much I made a second version with a different stencil…

Spring is a perfect season for cookie decorating, but to be honest, the whole year brings fun possibilities to play with Royal icing…
ONE YEAR AGO: Mandala Stencil
