For these cookies, get real bright colors, I like using the Electric set from Americolor. Then flood half of them with Electric Green, half with Electric Orange, leaving a nice border around to add details. Once that sets, you can add fine lines in contrasting color for the border, criss-crossed pattern and dots.

It is a great way to practice fine line piping, and even if little boo-boos happen here and there, the cookies are busy enough that they won’t be noticeable.
