This set is divided in two parts: for the mushroom house I followed a super cool tutorial from Mik, that you can access visiting her website (click here). That took care of the two component cookie that matches so well…

Many details in this project, starting with little mushrooms piped as Royal icing transfers. Mik provided the templates, making it quite easy. Then it is a matter of piping all the outlines of the large set of mushrooms and the house. And flooding, adding details with piping consistency icing. Some steps shown below.

The final two-piece cookie is truly adorable!

For the other cookies, I went with my own ideas. I used a similar set of colors for all of them, and I am quite happy with the way they tied together.

I am not sure which one if my favorite, but I suspect the Owl is fighting hard to be it…

They love to sleep by the mushrooms…

Some of the steps to make the hedgehogs are shown below, pretty straightforward.

Some cookie projects make me smile all the way through the process, and this set was definitely one of them…

Methinks we all have a current need to discover such a magic mushroom house as you have created . . . and one of your delightful owl placements makes one think of and hope for the welfare of one wearing a head covering such as . . .
