Love cats? I’ve got some cookies for you…

STAINED GLASS CATS

Stained-glass is a passion of mine (one of many, as you may have noticed). For this design, I flooded cookies with gold Royal icing and then piped a random mosaic pattern. Let that set, and used Sugarprism to paint in different colors. To honor the season, I went with colors of Fall.

Once the colors dried, I went over the outline with gold luster powder mixed with vodka. I love the way they turned out!

HANIELA’S BLACK CAT

Those were demonstrated by Haniela around Halloween, they are a bit involved but a ton of fun. You can see her detailed explanation for free with a click here. The most involved part is the eye, which I did not quite hit as I wanted but it’s ok. Eyes are NOT easy.

SILHOUETTE CATS, TWO WAYS

If you are good at drawing you can do these free-hand, but I relied on a projector to help me out, so that all images were similar and the set more harmonious. I went with purple for the background and black pen for the cats.

A little flash-back from Halloween days, the ones above I drew free-hand, they didn’t have to be perfect or similar, so I just went with the feline flow. Orange makes them perfect for Halloween, but you can definitely change the color scheme and make them anytime.
