If you love to paint, these cookies are for you… Of course, I need the help of a mini-projector to bring them from imagination to reality. I’ve had this projector for many years, and love it. The only issue with it – and I heard it is a common issue with projectors – is the inability to pair it by Bluetooth, even if it is supposed to work. I need to link it to my computer with a cable, but it is a small price to pay, I guess. Today I share a small series of cookies that relied on drawing an image over Royal iced cookies, then painting with Sugarprism, a product I am super fond of and have been using for almost as many years as my projector…

I just adore this set… There are countless sources of free images out there, but I actually bought a series of coloring books that offer great variety. Check all their products at QuietArt, and try not to buy them all…
.
It all starts by projecting the image over the cookie and getting the outline ready with a fine tip black pen.

Then, just grab the Sugarprism colors (you can also use food safe pens, diluted gel colors, or luster powder mixed with vodka), and have some fun!
We are the cool ones…

We are the mellow ones….

.
We just roll with the cute…

And, because it is almost Halloween, I had to make a couple of cookies to embrace the vibe…

The painting part can be kept simpler, just a black pen and a few highlights of color.. These are best filed under the category “Cookie what you Love”

If you want to expand your cookie decorating horizons, a mini-projector is a great investment, and comes in handy also for writing, although that is a skill I still struggle with…
