The season of beautiful leaves changing color, the season of pumpkins and cozy sweaters is here. I celebrate it with sweetness and of course, cookie decorating. Some designs are mine, but the cute little fox comes from my friend Haniela, part of her most recent tutorial that you can follow joining her Patreon site (click here).
Let’s start with this cute fox: I am totally smitten by it, particularly the bushy mustache, or whatever you call it… The technique to make it is super cool, by the way…

Moving on…
The central cookie was made with a stencil that I’ve used in the past many times. You can find it here. The coffee cup is pretty straightforward, just ice the central area, let it set overnight, air-brush the leaf pattern, and once that is done just ice the other areas to complete the mood.

Some pumpkins and leaves…
And why not a couple more pumpkins and a few more leaves? The ones below got a simple wet-on-wet design for flowers in the central area. Next day a fine tip black pen was used to add the details.
And to close the series, simple pumpkins made with polka dots i the center, and some texture with a fondant baller added to the sides. Leaves are very simple, the ones to the right almost minimalist, I would say.
So let’s march into this new season, embrace the warm colors and cooler temperatures outside (Sally wipes a discreet tear).
