CELEBRATING SUMMER

Very simple shapes, circles and squares, plus a little extra sun to decorate cookies with a summer vibe. It all starts by outlining the different areas using piping consistency Royal icing.

Once that is done, the blue areas are marbled with white to give
the impression of the sea.

In cookies depicting sand, a two-step technique: first flooded with gold, then a little texture added with a brush, tapping slightly thicker icing over the set background.

The whole process is not complicated at all, and the cookies will look pretty adorable together in a set. Before the cookies are fully dry, a needle can be used to trace a heart on the sand. In other cookies, I used fondant to make little shells.

The umbrella is also very easy, just flood each area and add little details with piping consistency white.

.

With these cookies, I consider the season of Summer 2026 officially started!

ONE YEAR AGO: Fun with Texture
