It is obviously that time of the year, so let me show you some of the designs I’ve played with recently. Most rely on Royal icing transfers, they are a great way to decorate cookies. You make them, and they sit and wait for you.
First, a design inspired by Amber, using a cute frame shape…

Make pumpkin transfers.
Flood cookies and place pumpkins on the wet surface. Allow to set.
Pipe a bead border all around.
Next, a wet-on-wet border inspired by Haniela…

Flood the cookie with ivory color. Immediately add sets of two straight lines and a little dot at the ends (check video for details, clicking here).
Place pumpkin in the center.
A little Fall lantern….

Cookie cutter from semisweetdesigns.
Some steps shown below…

The lantern makes a nice set with pumpkins…

.
A couple more simple designs using transfers…

.
Or for something a bit different,
how about a latte cup?

Flood the central area, let it set.
Use a stencil to air-brush the pattern using Laurel green.

Flood the other areas and add fine lines for the details
Glue the pumpkin in the center.
.
Finally, a design that relies on stencil and Royal icing…

I hope you could find some Fall inspiration in this post!
