Another incredibly cute design conceived by Haniela, and demonstrated last week during her live weekly event, that takes place on Wednesdays at noon (CT). This particular tutorial is available here.

So many little details make this composition special! You will ice 8 cookies to form the full circle, then add the fawn and the cardinal using stencils (Hani provided the template for her Patreon members, and I used my Cricut to cut them). The branches are added with a fine tip black pen, and finally all the snow details and mushrooms with Royal icing.

You can always do a similar design on a square or round cookie if you don’t want to make a platter, it will still be adorable. If you are into cookie decorating, I urge you to visit Haniela’s youtube site, because there are countless episodes available for free, but even better is joining her Patreon site, where you can interact with members, get her templates and feedback if you need help.
