Such a beautiful design by Haniela, shared a month or so ago in one of her weekly Facebook lives. You can watch it and learn by clicking here.

So many details! This cookie can be simplified but would you really do that when the details make it so special? I say go for it, take your time and enjoy the ride. The cookie cutter I used can be found here. First you draw the basic sections with a food safe pen, then work on brush embroidery with thick consistency white Royal icing. Once that is done, flood the different sections with the color of your choice. I used super light purple. Details are added later using piping consistency icing, just a bit darker. Gold luster for the mandatory bling. Because bling brings cookie to life! Some of the steps are shown below.

This was another super fun project, and one I was quite happy with. If you’ve been around my cookie blog, you know that I am always looking at my boo-boos. But this project left me smiling, so a big thank you to Haniela is in order.
