For the month of June, Marlyn from @montrealconfections proposed the challenge of decorating a set of cookies using only three colors… I went to work right away, and this was the outcome.
I chose Summer colors and motifs, yellow, orange and white. Surf boards, a beach umbrella, butterflies and modern-style sun cookies.
It is nice to be able to work with only three bags, one of them does not even needs color added, so it’s very straightforward…
To get a little more pizzazz to the sun cookie, I used the air-brush to add a hint of orange to the yellow center.
And, it is almost impossible for me not to include some gold, because… life needs bling!
Next time you need to decorate a batch of cookies, consider limiting the number of colors and see what you come up with…
