Ladybugs, another theme I never get tired of! They are perfect for cookies, you can use them as small accents or as the focus of your design. A couple of these are repeats from my past, in slightly different variations, but others are brand new, inspired by drawings from Pinterest.

It all started by making Royal icing transfers in different shapes and sizes…

Next step was composing the different cookies, starting with leaves… I used several different techniques: crumbled parchment for texture, air-brushing with stencil, and fine line piping (those inspired by tutorial from Haniela, already shared in the past).

The large ones were incorporated in square cookies, with piping of grass to complete the vibe…

I also re-visited a very dear cookie from the past. You can read the full blog post about them clicking here.

If you love ladybugs, you must celebrate them in cookie shape, so many ways they can bring on the cute!
