These are simply too cool for words! Can you believe this super realistic effect? I was blown away, and so were the folks at the homeless meal when I donated them, which of course gave me a special thrill…

The only potential drawback of these cookies is the absolute need for black icing as the base, so you might have people with the black tongue and teeth syndrome. But it will be worth it. You can watch a quick version of the process cicking here, or by joining her Patreon site.

Start the flooding the day before you want to decorate the cookies, because you need a dried base for the subsequent steps. They involve sketching the design with a needle as above, or going free hand and painting first with white then with colors, before the piping of icing as fine lines.

This technique can be used in countless designs, it is colorful and so much fun! I had a total blast decorating this set, and for that I say once again, thank you HANI!

Am laughing! Eat Sally’s newest cookies, get a black tongue . . . what next dear ma’am 🙂 ? I bet half the people to whom you donated these tucked them away and kept them . . .
