For the Love of Cookies

If you follow cookie decorators, you probably realize this is one of those viral trends, everybody is doing it. I normally do not like to join these trends, but I find the design so impossibly cute, I had to try it myself. So, without further ado, my little snow angels…

It all starts by making the little Royal icing transfers. You can download the template for free from yourbakingbestie (click here). Pick some bright colors and pipe in stages, areas that do not touch, letting them set before moving to the next region.

Now plan the placement of the little guy on your cookie…

I decided to paint the central area with very thin white icing instead of flooding…

.

No need to wait for too long, just ice the rest of the cookie with white icing…

Immediately shower it with sanding sugar, as fine as you can find…

.

Glue the little guy in the center, be very careful, he is super easy to break… Avoid breathing while you do it, but try to avoid getting hypoxic.

And there you have it, snow angels enjoying winter!
