I believe the time has come to open the Season of Love… Let’s start with a small series of cookies to get us going… First, a beautiful composition designed by Amber from @sweetambs.

A lot of details, but her tutorial is flawless as always. Start by making all the buttons as Royal icing transfers (she provides the templates in her cookie club). Then it is just a matter of flooding, piping details and bringing it all together… I used a Birthday sprinkle cookie dough for these.

My favorite is the jar…

But of course, the flowers would stand on their own if you prefer not to make a full platter.

Moving on, my own little adventure with Snoopy, inspired by an image I saw on Pinterest.

I made the little guys as Royal icing transfers, carefully sizing them to fit into the large cookie heart I used as the base. Then I piped a border, flooded with red, and glued Snoopy while the icing was still wet.

Some triple stacked hearts make a pretty cute set for Snoopy…

Finally, using leftover buttons from the first project, I improvised a few sweaters, joining Valentine’s with winter, which is pretty much what will happen…
