A couple of weeks ago Haniela demonstrated how to make a beautiful set of tea cups, with hanging tea bags and tiny apple-shaped cookies to complete the set (check the whole video for free clicking here). I skipped some of the details and added a teapot and a hearty apple pie to the group. I hope you like my babies…

I adore this tone of blue, which was made using Artisan Accents Azure Blue, a favorite of mine (sold out in many venues, but apparently still available here).
All the basic decoration is made with wet-on-wet, so it comes together easily.

The pie was made using piping consistency gold, and the teapot got a little extra bling with the central rose.

I had leftover icing, and decided to play a bit with the white and blue theme. I used a little grid bought at evilcakegenius.com – could not find it on their website anymore. You cut it and glue it to iced cookies using water or corn syrup. Then decorate as you desire.

I also made a couple of hexagons to complete the set.

And now for some super cool stuff: Haniela just published her FIRST COOKIE BOOK! It covers simply everything you need to know about baking cookies, making Royal icing, and of course you can find a ton of things about decorating the cookies in her youtube and patreon channels. I highly recommend you get a copy to yourself and maybe consider gifting it to someone who might be flirting with the idea of decorating cookies but has no experience and maybe feels a bit intimidated.

CONGRATULATIONS, HANI,
