Celebrating the season, a cookie composition using this set of cutters from Semisweet designs.

For the platter I used 10 of the wheat stalk cookies, one central round cookie (3.5 inches in diameter), and one ribbon.

Start by flooding the stalks in two steps… First the lighter gold color.

Then the darker tone next to it.

The whole base needs to set before the details are piped on on top…

The central cookie was just flooded, allowed to set overnight, and the stencil (sold separately), was used to spread icing. I used a little gold luster pump before removing the stencil for some bling.

The ribbon was flooded in stages, then fine lines and sanding sugar gave it the final look.

If you don’t feel like making a whole platter, these cookies stand quite well on their own for a nice Fall vibe!

Really lovely. I like how you created the shadow lines on the bow w flooding and piping. Just found all my leaf cutters, you inspired me how to use some!
