Once again, I share an adorable design by Hani, demonstrated recently in one of her live performances. You can watch it all clicking here. Pillows, decorated with pumpkins. How does she come up with so many clever ideas? I don’t know, but I sure profit from it…

The adventure starts by making little pumpkins as Royal icing transfers. You should do that the day before. Keep in mind that the transfers last pretty much indefinitely. Once those are done, the base of the pillow can be made, starting with some brush embroidery at the edges. Some of the steps are shown below.

It is such a sweet design, perfect for the Fall… Of course, with Halloween peeking at us, I envision pillows with a little bat or a spider in the center… That could be fun.
I often have Royal icing leftover from such projects and end up using it to make additional cookies. I think this little dress (inspired by a design from Amber), ended up working well with the pillows.

I hope you enjoyed this small set of cookies, and consider making some yourself… Big thank you to Haniela once again!
