And of course, cookies are perfect to celebrate!

For the pencil cookie set, you’ll need these cutters from semisweetdesigns.com, one of my favorite places to order cutters online. There is even a tutorial available to help you decorate it.

The Nerdy Apple design is courtesy of Haniela. I cut the shape by hand and followed her tutorial available here. Some steps shown below.

I particularly love the way she made the pages in the book, so clever!
The little notebook pages go very well with that set. All you need is to flood the cookies with white icing, let it set. Draw the lines with food safe pen and a ruler.

To continue on the subject of apples, some simple designs requiring just a few colors and simple piping.
