Aren’t those adorable? These were part of a live youtube from Haniela of about one year ago. Check the tutorial here. It involves a background using watercolor technique, which you can apply to countless designs. Then a simple outline that is covered with sanding sugar right after piping.

You can make the same design for orange slices, of course. A citric feast!

But of course, one of the things you can do when life gives you lemons… is LEMON PIE!

For this design, I used a very large round cutter, divided in 8 sections. Flooded with yellow, let it set. Added lemon slices made of fondant, and a little piped “whipped cream” with thick consistency white icing. Easy peasy!
