WELCOME, SPRING!

For this native Brazilian, winter is a tough season to go through, so I feel like shouting welcome to the official ending of it. A bouquet of roses seems like the perfect way to embrace it.

There are quite a few versions of this design around. I followed MajMakes it, but she is not making new content anymore, it is an old video. I can’t say it is a simple one to make but overall not that bad. You need to master fine lines for the stalks and also to add the swirl on each rose. Two tones of pink give the contrast needed for the full effect.

Just add blobs of dark pink where the roses will be, let it set for 15 minutes or so, and add the swirl with a lighter pink.

Next simply fill the empty spaces with thick consistency green icing piped with a small leaf tip. Some small yellow buds, a little gold luster here and there. Your bouquet is ready to shine!

Do so hope your spring will smile upon you and the pups as you go walk in the lengthening evening hours . . . meanwhile am saying ‘thank you’ for the roses > they look impossible to make at first look and then you give the secrets away to make me smile ‘I think I could do those blobs and swirls 🙂 ‘!!!
