On the second day of July, the halfway mark of the year (!!!!) I share three ideas for your 4th of July celebrations, all super sweet, all with the mandatory trio of colors…


These were inspired by a design from Tunde I made in the past (see post here). They are not too complicated, although there is a bit of fine line piping to finish them. Make a little outline with white, fill half the sections with red, wait util it sets a bit. Flood the other sections with blue. Let it set for an hour or so before adding the details and dots with piping consistency white icing.

Hexagons are so much fun!

Inspiration for these came from Instagram, but I added my own spin to them… Quite simple to decorate and so festive!

I hope you consider making these, and of course the colors can change to match other occasions…

Super simple also, just use a mold to coat the Oreos with white compound chocolate, them use Royal icing to make the decoration on top, adding star sprinkles and little spray of Diamond dust. You are done!
