Celebrating a beautiful season that is just about to start…

.
THE TULIP

This is a very simple cookie to decorate… Flood the center and immediately add sanding sugar (I used pink shimmery sugar). Then flood the two other sections, one at a time, waiting about 10 minutes for the first section to set a bit, so you get a good separation between the two halves. Once that is set, add a fine line and the stem.

PINK ON GREEN

Also quite straightforward, I did not even used a template for the petals, just drew 8 petals all around the center. Flood the green part, wait 10 minutes, flood the white. Then add the center and some texture with the handle of a brush once the icing is starting to set. Fine lines accentuate the petals, little dots surround the center, and a little bead border gives a nice touch. I finished the cookie with a light spray of PME pearl luster. Some steps shown below…

THE FOLIAGE

Going a little modern, the cookie is flooded in white and two tones of green. Once that fully sets, fine lines add the design. A border of white sanding sugar and a spray with PME pearl luster, that’s all you need!
