Outside, it is all white and cold…
inside we play with colors…

For this design, choose a large heart-shaped cookie cutter, draw a smaller heart in the center, and flood the outside area with white. Use four different colors of your choice to make little dots and pull them on both sides. A few more little tiny dots all over, and you are ready to fill the center with one of the colors of your design.

I like to make a set of four, varying the color of the small heart at the center…

A variation of the basic idea, using just two colors…

Small colorful hearts using contrasting colors to play with fine lines a bit… These were made using leftover icing from a fun project I will share with you next month, with a Mexican atmosphere (stay tuned!).

Black is also fun to couple with colors…
