For the Love of Cookies

Once again, a design that stole my heart, because it is so simple but you can change it around in countless ways… 

Start by flooding a round cookie with the red part, that will be the hat. Play with different shapes, add details in white using wet-on-wet icing.

Now flood the face area and add the eyes (PME black pearls, they never bleed).

After this step, they need to set for a while, better wait a few hours, then add all the details with thicker icing in white and orange.

Now you really need to be patient – better wait until next day – before using a food safe pen to add the mouth and eyebrows. And finally a little red luster powder to the cheeks…
