These cookies were made following a very recent tutorial available for members of Tunde’s club. You can read all about it and join with a click here. I would say this is not a beginner’s project but not too difficult because the fine lines are not that many and don’ t need to be as perfect as when piping a grid. But you will work with several different techniques and icing consistencies. I truly enjoyed making this set, it is a nice example of three shades of the same color working together in magical ways.

To make these cookies, you need three tones a single color for the flowers. Tunde opted for a gorgeous coral, I went with Fuchsia from Sugarflair. Some you will use in piping consistency, some in thick consistency to pipe petals. For the leaves just a single tone of green, in a couple of different consistencies.

I had a few little boo-boos in a couple of cookies, some because I managed to stick my finger in the perfectly iced leaf while trying to move the cookie from bench to drying rack. It is one of my areas of expertise…. (sigh). But still, I liked the way they turned out…

Not sure which cookie was my favorite, but I do love this simple composition with three of them together…

Tunde, thank you so much for your detailed tutorial, I love all of your cookie designs!
