The challenge: to provide cookies for each round of golf my beloved husband plays with his buddies. It is not easy to come up with new and interesting designs, but where there is a will, there is a way!
I will start with my very favorite because I made it with one of his friends in mind, a lawyer… I found an image for the scale of justice, used a projector and piped it. The golf ball gave it the proper perspective. I absolutely loved this one…

.
Moving on, a couple of designs that center on the golf bag…
The first one used a frame shaped cookie cutter, and the bag was piped with icing, with the help of the projector.

Alternatively, you can start from a golf bag cookie cutter and just pipe all the details…

Celebrating the golf swing with the help of stencil and air-brush…

And let’s not forget the ball…
Turquoise flooded and fully set. Golf ball added with a stencil and Royal icing.

Ball on a royal icing piped tee…

Or a basket of balls, design made for Easter Sunday game…

But maybe my favorite motif involves the golf course itself… So many ways to celebrate the game! The design below was inspired by Haniela in a recent live event (check it out here).

.
This set I made when they had a very early starting time…

Lately I’v been making cookies with slightly different outcomes and let Phil decide who gets which cookie.

.
I find those a ton of fun!

Feel a bit sorry for the player on the right… I’ve been there. In fact, I am often that player!

A couple of special designs…
First, celebrating the fact that Phil recently shot his age!

Finally, a little set made when they played in the annual tournament at Colbert Hills called “Eager Beaver”

.
Stay tuned for more in the future…
The game never ends, so the decorating must go on!
