Most of these cookies are part of a Birthday set I offered a girl who loves foxes.
So many ways to portray this adorable animal in the cookie universe!
DESIGN #1
WINTER FOX

I was inspired by cookies I saw on Instagram, and made my own version of this cozy fox, trying to stay warm. I simply eye-balled the different areas, flooded them in stages to keep the separation evident. Then it was just a matter of adding little dots to perk up the look. PME black pearls for the eyes, since they do not bleed. Eye lashes with food safe pen and a little luster powder on the cheeks.
DESIGN #2
SUGARPRISM PAINTED

This design was from an online class I took back in December 2021, and at that time I struggled quite a bit to make the cookies. It does not seem to be available anymore, but it was taught by Megan Warne from How to Cake it. I made them again, this time using Sugarprism to paint the flooded and fully set cookies. To order Sugarprism, click here.

I am very happy with the way they turned out this time…

DESIGN #3
HANIELA’S CUTE FOX

Those were made a few weeks ago during a weekly live by Haniela, and you can watch and get detailed instructions watching the recorded video (for free) with a click here. I find them extremely adorable… Some steps shown below, but definitely watch the video if you want to make them.

DESIGN #4
DREAMS OF SPRINGTIME

A slightly different shape, similar design as shared by Haniela, I made two sleepy foxes holding roses, as they are actually getting ready for Spring.
DESIGN #5
MODERN FOX

I’ve had this cookie cutter for a long time, it is part of one of the many sets sold by Sweetsugarbelle. I just flooded in sections, and added the details once the base layer was set. Little fine lines to mimic fur are of course nice, but optional.
That is all for now, friends!
I hop you enjoyed this series…
