For the Love of Cookies

My favorite season will be over soon, and it makes me sad… But I can still celebrate it, in cookie shape.

I wanted happy, bright colors for these. Overall, the designs are pretty simple. Fondant decorations painted gold added a little bling, and for the yellow sandals I went even easier with store-bought sprinkles. The cookie cutter for the swimming suit you can find here. For the swimming suit, I flooded the pink area and left a top region to be flooded later with white. Once that was fully set, I added the white layer at the bottom with a tiny petal tip and thick consistency icing. The yellow swimming suite was fully flooded with yellow and the orange dots added right away as wet-on-wet. The flip-flops matched were made to match the swimming suits, because… gotta stay elegant!

Surfboards tied the theme together… Just flooding and some details with piping consistency white icing.

This set made me happy, my hope is that whoever got them had a smile too!
