Winter goes on around our neck of the woods, with extreme low temperatures. A lot of snow. The big question is, will this Brazilian survive? Stay tuned to find out. In the meantime, she bakes cookies.

I was again inspired by cookies from Instagram, and made my own version with the help of a food projector, but if you are good at drawing you can go at it “without anesthesia”.
Start by flooding the snowflake shape with a very light blue color, leaving an empty circle in the center for the face…

Wait about 30 minutes and flood the center with white Royal icing…

Ideally wait until next day to draw the little faces, but if you start early in the morning, you can do it very carefully late afternoon or better yet, after dinner. Many sources in the internet will give you images for eyes, just find what you like and project on the cookie. Or you can keep it simple and just use dots for the eyes, a little smile, maybe eyebrows and a nose. Have fun with it!

I played with the color of the eyes, and also changed the size of the facial features with the projector. It seems to me that bigger eyes worked better with this design.

STAY COZY, MY FRIENDS!
