This is a bittersweet post. For the past year I’ve shared a monthly combination of gnome and floral designed by Amy from @seriouslysweet, and with this post the sweet adventure comes to an end. I love them both, but it is a bit sad to know this is the last set of this series… Big thank you to Amy for designing them all and teaching us how to decorate them.

A magnolia and a little Santa Gnome to close this amazing series that spanned the whole year! Look at all those cutie pies together….

This month’s combo was fun to put together, I particularly love the detail of the snowflakes on the hat, made with wafer paper. I actually put that to use in a couple of other cookies that I will share with you soon.

For the nose, Amy used a jelly bean, but I could not bring myself to buy a bag just for that reason, so I went with fondant. I could not help but notice how my nail polish matched the “soon-to-be-gnome-nose”…

Here he is, in all his Christmas glory!

Amy, thank you for a wonderful year of pure fun!
I look forward to learning more from you in 2024!
