Almost at the end of our journey this year, I share today my version of Amy’s combination of Gnome and Floral cuties for the month of November… You can join Amy’s online classes visiting her site with a click here.

Of course, a little turkey theme had to be in the picture! Oh, I love those little colorful wings on the sides, and the candy corn hat, what a fun set this was!
The cookies were quite fast to decorate, Amy devised a way to work on both designs at the same time in a super efficient way, no need to even use a dehydrator. First we piped the two external sections of the pumpkin, moved to the gnome and went on a back and forth like that. Some steps shown below. The only components needed before actually decorating were the nose and the sunflower, both made with fondant.

The beard, my favorite part, was once again made with Amy’s special method that I find super cool!

These were the cookies after icing…

I decided to use some gel color to shade the pumpkin once the cookie was fully set, and also add some bling to the vines, branches and leaves.

So here we are, blinked my eyes twice, and only one more Gnome-Floral adventure left… but of course, Amy will have something else brewing for the new year. Make sure to visit her site to join us all!
