I am trying not to think about Halloween being over so soon… makes me sad. Today I share a small collection of scary cookies to celebrate my favorite decorating season.

Are you tired of pumpkins? As you can tell, I am not! I just love this little crazy fellow….

And for a totally different vibe, let’s go blue and funky…

Some of the steps to make these two designs are shown below. They are pretty simple, the Crazy Orange Guy needs a little bit of fine line piping in the end, but he could very well stay without those. The little white crosses in the eye region are to prevent cratering once the eyes are piped.

.

Moving on….. Little skulls scaring a poor pumpkin…

Those are also very simple, starting with sketching the eyes and either filling those with icing and covering with black sanding sugar, or flooding the full pumpkin and adding the eye region next.

I must say that the poor pumpkin is having a tough time…

And her nightmares don’t seem to have an end!

The white pumpkin monster is indeed super scary, but perhaps my favorite design of this group…

I close this post with the simplest design, a cute little spider hanging from her web…

Flood the cookie with purple, allow that to set, then pipe a circle-oval for the body of the spider, add the eyes (in this case store-bought candy), the legs, the hanging web, and finally the border dots.

I hope you had cookie-fun in this Halloween season, I might still squeeze another set of scary cookies this weekend…
